We bought into DVC Animal Kingdom last year during our summer vacation.

Then our son applied for the college program, was accepted and is there now.

So we are using our points for the first time to spend Christmas at WDW, staying at Kildani Village and seeing our son, he is one of the safari guides/drivers.

I am counting down the days.

I am excited on so many levels, seeing our son, staying at Kildani Village, being there at Christmas.

I want to make this trip as special and memorable as possible.

Any tips?

thanks

Just wanted to say "Welcome" and I hope you enjoy your first DVC stay! Does your son enjoy the college program?
Our family will be arriving on the 28th of December. We are looking forward to enjoying the festivities for New Years Eve. We are scheduled to check out on the 4th of January but our son has been accepted for the Spring College Program and will be checking in on the 6th so I just called and got a studio for him and one parent to stay in until he checks in for the program. I just love having DVC and the flexibility to call and get a "free" room!

Sorry I don't have any tips to share but have a great visit!:)

My daughter is doing the CP now too. She's at ToT and RnR six days a week. We're going to see her in November for ten days.

We've done the X-Mas thing a few times over the years, tips? get moving early because last year it was crowded in the afternoon/evenings. Great place to spend Christmas.

Where is your son working?

Our son is working in Animal Kingdom, driving the safari bus. yes, he is enjoying it. He has made new friends (how can you not), and is enjoying the whole experience.
