Okay, so this isn't totally Honeymoon related... but it is our first trip to WDW. I know that they have pins that say "first trip" but how do you get them? Are they at the stores or should we put a note in our ressie? I'd like to have them as a little surprise for him when we get there.

Thanks - and I had to post here cuz everyone is so dang friendly!

I believe that you can get them at any trading pin store they have around the parks and at Downtown Disney. If you're going on your honeymoon, why don't you go get the bride and groom ears or even the pins?

My grandparents live in Santa Ana, about 10 min. from Disneyland. When we had our engagement part down there, they bought me the headband... the top hat was too small for my DH's head! I'm definately taking it and we get honeymoon pins with our romance package... so I'm just thinking about the other ones.

I am kind of new at this message board thing so bare with me. The only other board I was on was today's bride and it is so simple compared to this one. I just wanted to say congrats and ask if you guys did an all inclusive package. I am getting married in september and we want the wedding and the honeymoon all together. I am pretty sure I want to stay at the grand floridianbut my parents own a time share and that would be totally free. My fiance has NEVER been to wdw so I am really going to enjoy being able to show him everything and knowing my way around will impress him too. He He. Good luck to you.

I'm not sure what you mean by all inclusive... we did a dreammaker package with romance plan and at GF honeymoon concierge. It isn't cheap though.

We aren't getting married in Sept. We have been married since last July, but had to put off the honeymoon until we had the money.

Get the ears, Get the ears!

We actually pre-bought ours on eBay and flew down with them on. It was so cool when we transferred through Hartsfield in Atlanta hearing people saying to their children "Do you know where they're going?" and pointing at us. ;)

Anyway, the ears will not only look very cool, but you also get a lot of perks. For example at CRT breakfast, we got free champagne flutes for both our first anniversary, AND our honeymoon. Very cool. Plus, we've gotten several magical memories certificates, and the re-hitching ceremony at the ice cream social was truly magical.

If you want lots of crazy ear pics, feel free to look here:

As for packages. We stayed at the WL in one of the four honeymoon rooms and had (at the time) Honeymoon Discovery Magic. I think it was a little over $4k at the time, and then we ended up blowing about another $1k there and ended up shipping home 3 boxes of souvenirs on UPS

The package did include the magical wishes though (just like the Dream Maker Silver today does) and 90% of our meals were all-inclusive and we of course ordered the most expensive things--steak-lobster, etc.
