For travelling, I would highly recommend something lightweight, yet appropriate for your infant.
I personally love the
Maclaren Quest. It is recommended for babies 3 months+. The Quest is the most lightweight stroller Maclaren makes with an almost full recline and footrest.
What I love about it:
-It's VERY lightweight and compact when folded
-has a one handed fold mechanism with automatic lock
-steers ONE HANDED
-has a canopy that has a tilt feature, so it can cover more when the sun angle is low
-reclines almost flat (probably to about 150 degrees or so).
-has an extendable footrest for baby (PERFECT for naps)
-has a 5 point harness that is easy to adjust, plus it's height adjustable.
It is pricey ($200 US), but it is WELL worth the money. Check out Maclaren's website (do a Google search) for all the info. I cannot stress enough how good these strollers are!!! I am a mom of 2 toddlers and have had 7 strollers until I found the Quest. I wish I had just bought one in the beginning, but I was trying to "save" money by buying cheaper ones...cost more in the long run...live and learn, and then advise others to not repeat your mistakes!
In addition to the stroller, make sure you bring a carrier of some sort (Bjorn or similar). You will need that for when you can't have the stroller with you (in rides/lines/restaurants, etc).
Also, be aware that SOME restaurants may have infant seats that wheel up to the table. They look sort of like carseats. Ask if they have anything like that available, since your baby will not be sitting up yet and a booster seat will not work. In addition, ask politely if you can bring in your stroller, and be seated somewhere out of the way if your baby is sleeping when you arrive for a meal.
