I am headed to Disneyland this October for the Halloween fun, and wanted to ask if anyone had any favorite recommendations for Dis newbie?

It'll be me, my wife and I in the park just looking to have a blast.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Just you and your wife? Make reservations at the Blue Bayou and Carthay Circle restaurant. If you want to splurge a bit more, get the Fantasmic and World of Color dining packages.

Oh! Disneyland is so romantic :) We went as a couple so many times before having kids!

Some things to consider:
- There is NO alcohol in Disneyland itself. You CAN find alcohol in Down town Disney and California Adventure. So, If you are looking to sit down and have a nice glass of wine or a cold beer, you won't be able to do that at Blue Bayou.. but there are a few nice places in California Adventure, and Down Town Disney.

- Blue Bayou is considered sort of the "special/fancy/fun" restaurant in Disneyland. It is very pricy (prices are cheaper for lunch than dinner)… but it is a fun experience. You are literally eating inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, and it is all very themed and dark and there are fire flies and you can watch the ride boats go floating past you (if you get a waterside table). I do recommend it if you have the budget to spend on a special Disney experience.

- Definitely get fast passes to see Fantasmic. Also, if you like shows check out Aladdin. (Good time to have a rest too, if you need one).

Will you be attending Mickey's Halloween Party (MHP) at DL? If so or if you are curious about it, read the first post in the Halloween Time superthread on this board. Feel free to ask any questions about the party on that thread. There is a Halloween tour (The Happiest Haunts Tour) in DL that might be fun, too.

I did get tickets for Mickey's Halloween Party on 10/14!!!

That sounds so cool!

Fair enough! Both eateries sound awesome. Decisions decisions haha! It's so exciting!
