At Disneyland California Genie+ includes all the park photographers. You can get as many photos as you and they can be downloaded for free.

All onride photos are free for everyone, you just have to enter the code into the photopass section on the App.

Character autographs, the character roam around a lot and you can stop them and get a photo and autograph.

Create a scavenger hunt. Depending on the childs age they may be interested in all the history and trivia of the original park.
