first trip

Hi, as the title suggests this is my first trip to DLP, or any Disney for that matter! It has been a dream since I was a child, but growing up in Australia it was always a stretch too far.
The cast:
Me (Jen) - 36
DD (Gemma) - 5
Sis-in-law (Karen) - 40 something
DNiece (Jessica) - 17
This trip is a part of DD's Christmas & birthday present (she is 5 tomorrow!) and was originally planned for just the 2 of us, but then Karen and Jessica who are WDW devotees wanted to come too.
We leave home on Sunday 9th Jan and travel to London where we are staying at the Kings Cross travelodge for the night. Great deal in their sale and got the rooms for £29 per room.
Direct eurostar to DLP on Monday 10th Jan at 9.44am
We are staying 4 nights/5 days at the Santa Fe.
We don't really have a set plan for our time with it being our first trip, but definitely want to see all the parades, toy story land, and the car stunt show in the studios. A bit disappointed that it's a small world and animagique are both due to be closed for all of our stay
We will probably spend one day visiting val d'europe as DNiece is a shopaholic!!
We are on a reasonably tight budget so unfortunately some of the restaurants I would have liked to try won't be on the agenda this trip.
We will be eating up big at breakfast, taking some extras for lunch
, then counter service for a couple of nights and buffets at either santa fe or cheyenne the other 2 nights.
After all the fun, excitement and adventure we will be heading home on Friday 14th Jan on the 7.37pm eurostar, then a train back home arriving home about 11pm.
I am so excited and can't wait...this is going to be a very long week
