I have been lurking here on and off over the past two plus years. We just got back from our first trip sans children and thanks to things we learned here it was amazing. So I decided to attempt my very first Trip Reoprt.
Day One- We arrived at POR about 10:30am. We did not expect our room to be ready, but they gave us our room key and said they could text us when our room was ready. Off to the parks we go. I love Beauty and the Beast so I really wanted to see that show so It was off to HS.
Before the show we had a few minutes and needed to get something to eat so we headed over to Staring Rolls. We were on the dining plan and choose to use only one Credit and share a turkey sandwich. Then we rushed to the show which was about to begin and I notice someone dressed in blue down in front of the stage. Low and behold its an interpreter.
I have a fascination with sign language, and have taken several classes. Needless to say I did not actually see the show. I was glued to the interpreters. It was AMAZING.
We wondered around the park watching some of the little street shows. While over by Star Wars and learned how to get our little Jedis' into the trainning academy.
It was time to head back to check out our room and get ready for dinner at Yachtmans Steakhouse.
