I have been lurking here on and off over the past two plus years. We just got back from our first trip sans children and thanks to things we learned here it was amazing. So I decided to attempt my very first Trip Reoprt.

Day One- We arrived at POR about 10:30am. We did not expect our room to be ready, but they gave us our room key and said they could text us when our room was ready. Off to the parks we go. I love Beauty and the Beast so I really wanted to see that show so It was off to HS.

Before the show we had a few minutes and needed to get something to eat so we headed over to Staring Rolls. We were on the dining plan and choose to use only one Credit and share a turkey sandwich. Then we rushed to the show which was about to begin and I notice someone dressed in blue down in front of the stage. Low and behold its an interpreter. :cloud9: I have a fascination with sign language, and have taken several classes. Needless to say I did not actually see the show. I was glued to the interpreters. It was AMAZING.

We wondered around the park watching some of the little street shows. While over by Star Wars and learned how to get our little Jedis' into the trainning academy. :cool1:

It was time to head back to check out our room and get ready for dinner at Yachtmans Steakhouse.

dude I am on board!! I am going to SSR in oct super excited I have done DL TR but will be doing my first TR for WDW :) but that is cool I love beauty and the beast show we always see that :)

Dinner at Yachtmas was very nice. We had an early res. 5:30 the resturant was practically empty. I had escargot that was great, Dh was not impressed with the ceaser salad but the rest of the meal was very good. The service was mediocre.

After dinner we headed over to Epcot and walked around for a while and found a place to watch Illuminations. Unfortunately it left me with an empty feeling. It was also the only night of our trip that Fantasmic was happening, kinda wish we made the trip to HS.

Day two started with breakfast at GFC. It was chosen for its atmosphere, unfortunaly that was all it had. Service was extreamly slow for an empty resturant. We did not let that ruin our day, however it did shape/change our resies for the rest of the trip. After breakfast we headed to MK. We headed stright to Buzz for a FP then hopped on the COProgress, that was neat since we had not see that in close to 10 years. Next up was our FP for Buzz. I prefer Toy Story but this would due. Then it was over to catch the dance party. You got to see a lot of charaters that you dont usually see around the park, Mr Increadable is the only one that comes to mind but there were a bunch that I did not see anywhere else.
