I am planning a trip to Disney during the week of April 16 (week after Easter). I will be with my wife and 10 year old daughter. Any advice on where to stay? Will it be too busy to enjoy? :moped:

It will be busy...but you will be fine. Make sure you understand Fast Pass, and make use of the Magical Hours (early and late)...also you must have ADR's. Last Easter (week after) we neded them, we saw many people being turned away. Not a problem if you eat counterservice. Just make a list of the Must Do's.
Staying at a resort near a park is helpful...we stayed at BWV after Easter (but we have also enjoyed SSR and POR)

Welcome to the DIS :flower:

It will be busy, but the weather will be nice. Enjoy your trip back "home"!!!

It will be very crowded, and if I'm not mistaken, the rates will be holiday. Easter is April 16. I live in Alabama, and our spring break includes your visit (April 14, Good Friday-April 23.) I would definitely stay on site. I was at WDW one year on July 5-12. It was SO crowded and HOT. At least you'll avoid the HOT ! We had a good time regardless, and so will you :)

Off Site as a kid in the 1980's
May 2001-All Star Sports
July 2003-CSR
Nov./Dec. 2005-Wilderness Lodge :hourglass 48 DAYS !!

Go with a plan and you should be fine.

My son and I will be there for Easter (April 12-23). I plan to take advantage of EMH. We'll have PS for all sit down meals. Get to the parks when they open, and just have a wonderful time.

We were there during Easter in 2004. The crowds were HUGE but we still has a blast.
