First Trip Home

We are making our first trip to SSR. We bought it back in 2003 and this is the first opportunity we've had to use it. (we stayed at Ft Wilderness and Pop Century in between)

I was wondering how the buses are at SSR? Do they run on time? We have Priority seating for CRT at 8:10am and we are trying to decide whether to drive (we are renting a van) or to take the bus. Any thoughts are appreciated. Also any advice for a first time stay at SSR is also appreciated.

I would drive.

if you take their bus - you want the early morning one - character bus and you need to catch it no later than 7 am.

you can drive over and leave at 7:50am - and get there in time.

at the DVC way - you turn left - at the light (past OKW) you turn right - then where this road ends - turn left - you will go past golf courses, FW - stay on this road - when it ends go right with the road - get over in the left lane (the right lane ends before you get to the Cont) - don't turn right until you get pass most of the Cont -

the guards should give you a 3 hours parking pass.
