First trip "Home" to BLT! Woo Hoo!

I booked our first trip home to BLT this morning at the 11 months mark. (Called at 8:58, 8:59, then at 9:00 and MS was FINALLY open! ) I really wanted a studio MK view as we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary (with the 4 year old in tow) and we got it! After Disney World, we are going on a 5 day cruise on the Dream to top things off!

I am WAY excited! I went to 3 DVC presentations on Disney cruises before we bought via resale and, without yet going on a trip, couldn't be happier. I think it is one of the best purchases we have ever made. We used to live in Tampa and Orlando and went all the time before my son was born and feel we will use the membership even after he has gone off to college.

I can see what people mean about add-on-itis, though - it is really addictive! I am already trying to think when and how to buy more points so we can go from reserving studios to one bedrooms.

Congratulation on getting the MK view. We have done it twice in 1 bedrooms, and love the MK view. We love being able to sit on our own balcony and watch the MK fireworks. We will be staying at BLT in a MK again next May.

We are planning to go to the TOTWL. Hopefully we will be high up to get a nice panoramic view of MK. The whole reason we bought BLT is that we stayed there when I was 4 for 1 night as a surprise our last night in Orlando. I still remember standing on that balcony looking at the park and wanted to give my 4 year old son that memory 35 years later.

We have a 6 day trip at BLT coming up in Oct. Our view is bay lake. I have read and seen though that a few of these lake views you can actually see the castle and so get both. I doubt if we get one of these select views but we are hopping. I aggree with one previous poster, you need to try the TOTWL. They have a good sound system to hear the music from the WK fireworks and of course there is the great view, enjoy...smjj
