First Trip Home in 3 days!!!

OMG! My DH and I are headed home in 3 days! I have been planning this trip since we bought at BLT in May and I can't believe that we are going to be there in less than a handful of days!!!

I may be cheesy but I know that when we walk up to check-in on Saturday and they say "Welsome Home" for the first time I am going to cry. Has anyone else done this? I know that on my first trip to WDW (August 2008) I cried when I watched Wishes for the first time.

I am just so excited that I had to share!

Hi KateB,
It is very exciting to go home for the first time as a DVC member. I have checked in as a member several times and it is just as great every time. Being a DVC member is a wonderful thing.

I stayed at BLT last week and it is a fantastic resort. The proximity to Contemporary and MK is great. Congrats on becoming a DVC member and have a wondeful trip. Be sure to let all of us know how the trip was when you get back.

Have a wonderful time. And yes - I love it when they say "Welcome Home" . I use to rent a car so I use to hear it at the guard booth when we checked in the first time. Now since we do Magical Express I don't hear it till I check in at the front desk but it's still great. Enjoy BLT, I'm going to try it out in May for my b-day, so please post some pictures.

Have a wonderful trip.

We stayed at BLT a few weeks ago and loved it. We took DM along and she kept talking about BLT at our family Christmas this past weekend. Now, my siblings, nieces, and nephews keep asking when we'll take them with us. Really brought back a lot of great memories from when my parents took us to Poly in the 80's.

Have a great time. When we went home for the first time in October, our first "welcome home" was at the security gate. We stopped, she asked for DH's i.d., went inside the little building, then came back with our parking pass and said "welcome home". It was so exciting to hear that. Then we got it again as we were walking into Kidani and then again at the check in desk. It's a great feeling to hear it

We just got back from our first trip and I cried on the drive up to Jambo House, my husband thought I was being very silly but I think he was also pleased that he was able to purchase the membership for us
