First Trip Home-disappointed

With all I have read about paying for extra toewls, I was surprised-every day a cart in the am with clean towels and at night it was full of soiled towels. I have decided to write a letter to them and copy DVC and OKW

Don't forget...not all who stay in these resorts are DVC members. Some of us are CRO reservations, and get full housekeeping (with all the towels we can use!).

Sorry to hear about your experience. We stayed at OKW once , the room was spotless and the only problem I had was the top insert for the blender was missing(I needed my margaritas!). I called and they brought me a brand new blender in about 15 minutes and took the old one with them. I am suprised they didn't fix your problems right away.

I'm sorry to hear you had a rough going at OKW. We went "home" for our first trip last October to SSR and we absolutely had a wonderul time! Had I ran into the room issues you did, I would have called to management immediately and had someone come to the room..and if repairs/cleaning could not be done...I would have demanded a new villa. There would be no excuse for any of that. I also am very good at taking photos!

Did you call anyone right away?

I am not surprised that no 2BR was available for you to move into, but I am surprised that they did not offer to fix the problems right away. I have always received quick response from Housekeeping and Front Desk at all DVC resorts we have experienced. I agree that such problems should have been found and fixed before you moved in.

We've stayed at OKW before and had a great experience. So, looks like that particular unit is in need of some good 'ol TLC.

If we were assigned a room like you had, (and I wasn't beat from traveling), I would SO be demanding another room anywhere on site - surely they could have come up with something. It's a shame anyone had to get a room in that shape.
