First trip gift bags from MICKEY

I shipped my DS's gift baskets I made myself a week ahead of time...UPS. I also sent along with it snack items, paper products, sunscreen and other toiletries!! It worked out great!!! At check in the computer tells the CM that you have a package waiting...she gave it to me...my DH went ahead of me and got into the room and opened the box and put the baskets on the bed so when DS's walked in...SURPRISE... a gift from Mickey & friends!! It was priceless!!

You can also ship just the box with the gift/goodies to the hotel and kindly request the hotel to take it out of the box and put it in the room. I worked for a hotel (not disney) for several years and was always happy to do this! Just make sure you call and confirm with the front desk staff & managment before you ship. Then call again the day you leave to find out who will be on duty when you arrive. Beg, plead, but above all, just ask nicely and if they have the time, they will most likely do it for you! I've found most hotel staff love to add to the magic and be a part of this special surprise!

This is so much easier then worrying about sneaking someone in before the kids see and they will be so excited to see that Mickey knew they were coming and got them something special. I'm planning on doing this for my son's 1st trip next month and I can't wait to see his reaction!!

That's amazing! My DD4 and DS3 would love little surprises like those. Where did you get the resources to make those wonderful things? Or are you that creative?
