We ar r surprising my daughter with a trip for her 5th birthday. We did the same for her older sister except DW. We are flying into Orange county Dec 12 and staying with my sister. I have planned our three park days as the 14-16. And for those two nights staying at pvi for convience. We will do BBB the 15 followed by Ariel breakfast? Is there any other restaurants that are a must do? We did a table service every night in DW and they take up so much time and our daughter is still not a fan of the costumed characters so no point in doing more character meals. Is there anything I am forgetting? I know it will be busy especially that Friday but looking forward to a more relaxed pace compared to previous DW trip.

Breakfast at AG is only for an hour from 9-10. So you'd have to go to DL to do BBB at 8am, then go over to DCA. A better strategy might be to do FL at park opening, then a late morning BBB appointment and either get the package that takes you to see the princesses at PFF or wait in the PFF line. Then you could do lunch at AG or do the AG breakfast on another day.

OK sorry I'm still new to this although I have been reading more months. What is FL? I guess I didn't put two and two together that BBB and AG were not in the same parks. Also what is PFF?

TS is one of the ways we assure that we get some relaxing time in the DL parks. We hit the parks at rope drop and do our TS for lunch. Disneyland can feel like a zoo compared to WDW because all the people are crowded into a MUCH smaller area so a break from the crowds even within the park is nice. I'd read the menus online to see if any appeal to you. Honestly only a couple of the dining options include characters. Check the menus for Cafe Orleans, Carnation Cafe, Carthay Lounge & Wine Country Trattoria if you are looking for some TS options. Blue Bayou is only worth it if you are after the experience of dining inside POTC.

Thank I was debating on Blue Bayou but wasn't sure if it was worth it. What about the dessert party?

We totally have an abbreviation thread but I can't find it to link! Maybe someone else can. FL=Fantasyland PFF=Princess Fantasy Faire (see https://disneyland.disney.go.com/entertainment/disneyland/fantasy-faire/ )

And I concur I wouldn't try to bounce between the two in one morning.
