*~* First Trip: 59 Years In The Making *~* 11/25 - PTR is now closed!

That is some great craftsmanship on those clothes. Very impressive. And congrats on the haircut appointment.

And you probably have THE most cooperative cat in feline history.

I know! She's a super laid-back kitty!! And thanks for the complements on the clothes - we've had a ball making them!!

And I finished the embellishments for Levi's pants that will match a shirt for Chef Mickey's! I really wanted to do the balloon strings with a special stitch on my machine, but there was no way to do it because of the positioning - I just couldn't get that far up the leg... I used a thick fabric marker and I think it still looks cute! He loves them!

I love these pants.... where did you get the transfers? Or did you draw the mickey and balloons? They look awesome!!!

I am just now seeing your PTR and it looks great. You are so organized. I am NOT. haha

The balloons and mickey are actually from a bandana! I found a bandana with Mickey at Hobby Lobby and i took sections of it and ironed on heat and bond onto the back of it, then cut out Mickey and the balloons and ironed them onto the jeans! Then I used a bold fabric marker to draw the balloon strings!

The recent pics are sooooo sweet. I must try bath tub paints. Never even heard of them!! My DD would LOVE that!

We also booked a Harmony appt for the first haircut EVER! Should be fun to see how are kids look post appointment!

Thanks so much! The bath paints are one of my kid's favorite things ever! It's so cheap to make, the mess is contained in the tub, and it is FUN! Don't put any water in the tub though - I just let them paint in the tub and then rinse them off and the tub out and then run their "real" bath!

Can't wait to see your little one's first haircut too!

My dd had her first haircut at Disney. I actually have some pictures in my pre-trip report. I don't know if they still do it, but they gave her Mickey ears that say First Haircut on the back (she's wearing them in one of the pics.) They gave her a bunch of stickers to play with while they were doing the cut and it kept her totally occupied. We have an appointment to go back this trip.

We've finished up a few more outfits in the last few days!!!

Ava's outfit for Chef Mickey's

One of Levi's MK outfits

Levi's Wishes Dessert Party Outfit

One of Ava's "fancy" dinner outfits

Ava's Wishes Dessert Party outfit! Can't take credit for this though - I purchased it 2nd hand

And here's two I picked up for GREAT deals! I made the bows to match though! I found the skirts at our local kid's consignment store for $1 each and the tops at Walmart for $5!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that pict of Ava BW her cat!!!!!!!!!!

I have 3 boys so don't get to do all the cute 'girl' Disney stuff!!!!

I am not a 'crunchy' mom, but a semi crunchy(BF, BW, CS). We had stopped BW as my Casey got too much for my moby wrap, but I am bidding on Ergo carriers left and right....how long were you able to wear Levi?

I have plans to clean out my front porch and whip out the sewing maching that my mom gave me when she moved to Las Vegas and start making some crafts for our trip...but I have some time (which is what I always say and then run out of time...HUGE procrastinator here!)

Such cute outfits! I wish I could sew like that.

I did pick up that Cinderella shirt at Walmart, I have white princess skirt that has Cinderella on it and it matches perfectly! That bow is amazing!

Your daughters outfits are truly adorable!

Thank you so much!! It's been so much fun making them!!

Welcome aboard!!! Thanks for joining in!!

Side note since you mentioned bidding! There's been a HUGE wash of "fake" Ergo carriers on Ebay - they were SUPER subtle differences in real VS fake but the fake one's are known to be very dangerous - they have defective buckles that aren't proven to sustain the weight of a child much over 20lbs. This is a great blog post that tells how to spot them! http://thehappyhoopywooljunkie.blogspot.com/2011/08/how-to-spot-fake-ergo-baby-carrier.html

I had an Ergo and loved it!! About 50 carriers have passed through my hands with these two kids! I actually still wear Levi at least 4-5 times per week and he'll be 2 on Sunday and is 31lbs. He's still a breeze to wear with the right carrier!! I wear him on my back most of the time - only on my front if he's wanting to nurse. I use a toddler size Kinderpack which is similar to an Ergo. I love wearing him still. I actually have a preschool Kinderpack for Ava and she's 3.5! I only use it maybe 3-4 times a month though.... She's 38lbs!

Such cute outfits! I wish I could sew like that.

Thanks so much!! That skirts sounds like it is so cute and would match perfectly!! I'm sure it will be SUPER cute! You can find a cinderella bow just like the one I posted on Etsy - on etsy search "cinderella sculptured bow" - you can find them for like $3-4!

Love love love the picture of your DD wearing the cat! Super cute!

Thanks!! She loved it and the cat did too actually!

Another non-Disney update!

Here's what I woke up to this morning. Poor Ava slept on her neck wrong yesterday and was stiff, so she slept with a hot water bottle. Levi on the other hand woke up snuggling with Minnie.

We went to the mall today and the kid's built their first Build A Bear! Ava's was a reward for 4 straight weeks of no melt-downs during speech therapy (her therapist is on maternity leave and Ava's been having a super hard time with the temp...), and Levi's was for his birthday which is Sunday!! Of course both of them picked character outfits! Spiderman for Levi and Cinderella for Ava!

We also went for ice cream afterwards which Levi obviously loved!

While walking around the mall we walked right by Emily and her beau!! *THE* Emily - the most recent star of The Bachelorette! Pretty cool!! We took a trip over to the Disney Store and of course Ava decided to lounge around on "all my favorite characters!!".

Finished off the trip by going to Once Upon A Child and scoring these for $1! They'll go perfect with Ava's Snow White dress!

And that was our day!! More later!

Love the Build A Bear trip! Great picks on both of them. The shoes are awesome that you got for such a great price!! Gotta love a score like that! The ice cream pic is hilarious. Sorry I haven't been around much. I'm still following along though! I'm just a bad DISer lately.

Build A Bear is so fun!!! How cool that you saw Emily. Glad she is still with this guy. :) Nice score on the shoes!!

Thanks for the tip, after I lost the bid, I went looking online and found the info on the fakes...I ended up ordering one from Ergo..can't wait for it to come. Casey likes to be held, but is jsut too darn heavy for my arms (and I have a bad left elbow) so this will work sooooo well!!!!

My kids LOVE BAB, even now at 7 and 8 they are always asking to go back!

SCORE on the shoes!!!!
