Hi,
My family and I will be spending 3 days at Disneyland on Fri May 2 to Sun May 3. We have 3-day park hopper tickets. Look at some of the attendance calendars, it seems Fri and Sun will not be super busy, but Saturday will. So My questions are, should we hit Disneyland on Friday then California Adventure on Saturday, or is Saturday going to be busy no matter which park we choose?

Hi, David, at the top of this forum are the pinned "sticky" threads. I recommend checking out the tips and tricks threads like Hydroguy's https://www.disboards.com/threads/d...iews-hydroguys-tips-newbie-info-here.1072276/ . Also check out Skygirl's website here with great up-to-the-minute touring plans: https://disneylanddaily.com/. She's worth following on Facebook, too.

If you're staying at one of the three Disneyland hotels, you'll have early entry privileges, and I would definitely use them. If you're staying offsite, your 3-day parkhoppers should have one Magic Morning for DL, and I'd use that on Saturday, getting to the gates early, to get the best use of your Saturday. Hydroguy's tips will explain. Since you have parkhoppers, it will be easy to start at one park, hop to the other when it gets crowded, etc.

Hope you have a great time!

If you haven't already done it download the Disney park app and you can keep an eye on what the wait times are to give you an idea of how busy the parks will be We just got back and felt DCA was much busier in the afternoons and evenings than we expected. I would stay flexible and be wiling to hop since you can. :)

You have hopper tickets, so just hit whichever park you like--- plan for some of the big/most popular rides at opening before the crowds grow. If the park starts feeling crowded check the wait times for the other park and if they are shorter hop over. We would probably start at Disneyland on Friday if it is predicted to be a lower crowd day and then do California Adventure on Saturday, but I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. Really, even if we started out at Disneyland on Friday, at some point in the day we would probably go over to California Adventure. Hopping is so easy at DLR!

The crowd calendars are mostly making those assumptions based on the parks with the extra magic hours that day. Friday is DCA, Saturday is DL, and Sunday is DCA again. Id start in the park without EMH hours that day and then park hop over if you need to. That should work for your days as that gives two days in DL and one in DCA which should be about right.

FYI, Friday is May 3.

If I were you I would do your plan A. Start at DL on Friday and DCA on Saturday.
