First timers.. Character meals pre booked a must?

My family of 5 is making our first trip to DL in a week and a half..after checking out this site I'm wishing we had booked a character meal in advance. Although, being a surprise for our children ..9DD, 6DS and 8mon DS I don't know who they would prefer to see. Is it possible, being February , to get a spot for a meal while we are there? We are going for the 5 day flex pass so will have a few days to choose from.. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm sure your kids, as well as you and your DS, will enjoy the Character meal. Goofey's kitchen is our favorite. Great food, great entertainment
February is a slow month. They do not take reservations, it's just call ahead preferred seating. I don't think that you'll have a problem. Enjoy!
