Away from Disney there are lots of cool themed restaurants and several good chains. Highly recommend Race Rock, Chilis, Bennigans, TGI's, Olive Garden.

Hi,

Taking into account your children's ages, they will love character dinning in Magic Kingdom.

Crystal Palace Whinnie the Pooh Characters with buffet.

Liberty Tree Tavern Minnie, Chip and Dale, Pluto, Goofy, this entailed servers bringing food to your table, everyone gets the same, we went in April, starters was a salad, then, mac and cheese, mash, two types of meat, then apple crumble and ice cream for afters i enjoyed this.

Never tried Garden Grill, (Epcot) heard it is nice.

Off site, we normal eat at Ponderosa, all you can eat buffet.

Don't quote me here i think Halloween party is seperate admission.

Hope this helps

Yes, the Halloween party is a ticketed event. Ticket prices at the gates are around $35 plus tax for adults and $30 plus tax for children up to the age of nine. If you pre-order your tickets they will cost you slightly less, around $30/$25. Please be aware that the 31 October tickets sell out pretty quickly, so if that's when you want to go I'd advise you to get tickets asap.

We went last year and it was definitely worth every cent - the park looked absolutely gorgeous with all the spooky decorations, the parade was great and the queues to the rides were very very reasonable! I thoroughly recommend it! :flower:

Hope that helps,

Charlotte

We usually just eat as much as you want at the Ponderosa for a breakfast and then have a sandwich from a sub shop.

Sweet Tomatoes is supposed to be excellent on International Drive, we are going to try it this year.

:goodvibes It really depends.

There is so much, at the ASMO you have a collection of restaurants there, which sell anything from pizzas, pastas, burgers etc.

There is Ponderosa,Golden Corral,Pizza Hut,KFC,Mc'ds of course,Sweet Tomatoes,Subway, etc, List goes on, you can also eat at the parks and also there is of course character dining.

Hope you have a wonderful first time at disney I am sure you will :goodvibes

Gary, try Golden Corral all you can eat buffet. Great selection, quality, and prices.

Carl.
