If you can- definitely the Boardwalk!!!! You will be right on the boardwalk, walk to Epcot, and across the lake from the Yacht and Beach club resorts!! Lots of dining options and nightlife on the boardwalk!!! My suggestions for first timers is to get a guidebook or two. I have the Unofficial guide (be aware that Early Entry for resorts guests is no longer in effect) and Birnbaum's Official guide (lots of pictures). Also, read these boards!!! Ask questions! Another good planning website is wdwig.com. She has resort pictures, restaurant menus, and tons of advice for first timers. Once you have decided what you will do what days(forget seeing everything. Focus on what you would like to do most), then start making your priority seatings. You will find all of this info at wdwig.com or right here on the DIS!!!! Happy planning!- Just my opinion, but do not rule out character dining because you aren't coming with children. These meals are great and you can meet your favorite characters without waiting in line.
