I was just wondering which rides are safe to take belongings with you on the ride? This will be our first visit to the World, so we are planning on taking a backpack to keep our camera, itenaraires and other things in. Just wanted to know which ones our backpack could ride with us on, safely. TIA!

Every ride! I have taken my backpack on all the rollercoasters and have not had any problems.

Most rides have little compartments or nets to keep items in. But they usually are kind of small. If your backpack is on the big side, I'd recommend trying to find a smaller one, unless you don't mind holding onto it on the rides.

The only ones that don't have compartments are Tower of Terror, Big Thunder Mountain, Rock n Roller Coaster, Splash Moutain, and Expedition Everest. On these rides, if everyone in your party are riding, you can simply slip the straps over your legs. That will keep it from moving around too much and will keep it with you. Either that, or you could just keep one hand on it during the ride.

The less intense rides, like Peter Pan's Flight, you can just lay it at your feet. It doesn't get jostled around.

I've always taken everything on all the rides. The only one where you may want to use extra caution is Kali River Rapids because things get soaked, even in the compartment...

EE has a place to put your bag, it's a netting type structure.

But those that don't just loop it over your foot a few times and it should be fine.

We always carry a backpack and it easily fits in the car with us. This isn't a huge pack, like we are heading into the mountains, but a full size one that a school student would use. Never had a problem, even on the upside down ride, RnR coaster.
