Seriously considering a cruise for next summer, there would be myself, DH, 16 yr old DS, 13 yr old DS, and 1 yr old DD. What are my accomodation options? Also what would be the charge for the 1 yr old? How far in advance should I book?

If you want to all be in the same room, the only room (excluding suites) you can get into is a Category 4 on Deck 8.
You may be better off, if you're on a budget, to go for two connecting cat 10's or something like that on deck 2. You could also check if the secret porthole rooms are available.
Book as far in advance as you can. Prices continue to rise. The cruise I have booked for Jul of 2006 was booked in September of 2004 -- since then the price for the 11 of us has increased over $1000 !
I believe the 1 y/o would only pay port fees and not passage. Or perhaps its passage fees but not port fees. It's cheaper though - a lot.
I recommend you give DANA at MICDAN.COM a call -- she is by far the coolest and lowest price agent you will find. Even if you have your "local friend" that always gets you good deals, take your deal to Dana and she will often be able to beat it. Plus, she is a DISer, as well and LOTS of people here will vouch for her. Their # is 1-800-385-8233.
i agree with stuartMI....dana is great! I also would reserve ASAP...esp with gas prices getting so high...i am cringing to see what the cruise prices in 2007 will be....
