Hello! We are going to be there June 25-26. I will have an almost 3 year old and a one year old. We are staying at the Howard Johnson hotel and plan to walk to the park with a stroller. Here are my questions:

We can walk from the hotel to the park without worrying about trams, correct? Where is the pedestrian entrance exactly? I looked at the park in satellite view and could not figure it out.

We are doing Ariel's Grotto to meet the princesses, any other food/character advice?

What are the best attractions for 3 year olds that would also be ok with a one year old?

I am pregnant, are there any attractions safe for me to go on?

What is the weather and crowds generally like in late June?

Any other tips?

Thanks!! :)

You can walk from the hotel to the maingate on Harbor. you can either cross at HoJo's or walk down to IHOP and cross there. Google maps should show IHOP so you can tell where the cross walk is.

I am reading great things about breakfast with Minnie and Friends at Plaza Inn. We've never done it but will do it later this year based on what I have read here.

I think the best little kid rides in DL will be in FantasyLand. There are also nice little kid rides at bug's life in CA Adventure.

Like the PP Previous Poster mentioned you can take the sidewalk down to the IHOP and cross, it will be obvious because you will be crossing with many, many people there.

Also Hojo has a second option that some people consider a bit of a secret. Cross Manchester, then cross Harbor. Walk South along the headge under the monorail. When you go by a bunch of bus stops there is a gap in the bushes that will take you into the resort. Saves you from walking on the crowded cross walk and sidewalk.

I would also suggest Minnie and Friend Breakfast at the Plaza Inn. If you can make a reservation for before the park opens to general guests. It won't cost you a Magic Morning to do, or eat late so you don't miss out on the calm morning hours.

Almost everything a 3yo can ride a 1 yo can, unless it has a height resriction. Toddlers and babies can be effected by things like noise, flashes and darkness, usually babies are fussy or sleepy regardless of what's going on while a 3yo is aware and can be scared easier. Do consider Rider Swap too for the big rides for yourself.

"Rider Swap

Are you traveling with a little one who either can't or wishes not to go on an attraction? If you have 2 or more adults in your party, you can take advantage of the rider swap program that enables you to experience the attraction while one adult waits with the child. You then "swap" to enable the other adult to enjoy the attraction as well."

Being Pregnant you can enjoy most of the attractions, at the entrance will be a warning about the ride and things you should consider. Ask a doctor for their opinion of what you could do.

Junes will have great weather, maybe sweatshirts in the morning and evening.
Crowds will be heavy, consider riding popular attractions first things in the morning, and using Fast Pass.
