Hi! I'm going to DLP for the first time on July 26th, and I'm also going alone, and I was wondering what it's like to go alone, and if any of you are going on that date as well? I've never been to any Disney parks before so I'm really excited, but I'm also pretty anxious to be travelling on my own.. Any tips?

I went on my own in May for 3 days. It was nice because I could do whatever I want, whenever I wanted. I sometimes go to Disneyland in CA alone as well so I'm kind of used to it. I could go back to the hotel when I wanted, park hop when I wanted, and eat when I wanted. The downside is if you are waiting for the parade or Dreams and you have to go to the bathroom or something, you don't have someone to hold your spot. Otherwise, it's great. Take some time to sit on a bench and take it all in. Feel free to ask any other specific questions if you have any.

Thank you!! I guess the main thing I'm wondering is if it's weird to go alone, but from what I've seen a lot of people go alone so I should be fine. Any advice on things I should definitely not miss?

Not weird to go alone at all. My two favorite things were actually in the Studios - Crush's Coaster and Ratatouille. I think both of those are must dos. Disney Dreams is a must see as well. In the main park, Pirates of the Caribbean, all the Fantasyland Dark rides, Small World, Indiana Jones, etc etc.
