Newbie question... do the rails in the rooms with the verandahs and elsewhere have some sort of plexiglass to prevent the curious child from throwing themselves into the ocean?

I thought I saw some areas on deck 4 where the white life boats are deployed that have narrow spaces for a young child to squeeze through. They would have to be trying hard though.
We have have 2 connecting verandahs booked and my 4yo will not be allowed out there at all. She could scale the plexiglass or whitewall in a split second. I've got to admit I'm pretty nervous. But I MUST have fresh air and be able to see outside.
Plus I am going to ask the stateroom host to remove the furniture.
I am fairly tall for a woman and those railings come up to my chest. Every verandah has that plexiglas over the railing. And the locks Mickey4me refers to actually include TWO locks. One is up high, like eye level almost for most gals anyway. And the lower lock is the actual handle that has to be turned a certain way then pulled to open. And those doors take a little effort to open even by an adult.
I absolutely agree that you need to be watchful about the chairs and little table on the verandahs because as said small kids can and will climb them.
