Can anyone anser these questions for us?

1) Embarakation...Passporter says that there are 28 "check-in" lines. Each family takes about 10 minutes to check in. Our question is, is there one huge single line and then we go to the next available check in? I remember going to my bank and standing behind someone that was "long-winded" and trying to apply for a mortgage loan in the teller line. :rotfl:

2) What is there to do on the ship if we decide not to go to any of the ports?

3) Does anyone have a picture of the "water taxi's"? How many people fit on one? Are there bathrooms onboard? (Don't laugh....I have Crohn's & Colitis Disease).

Thanks for any responses!!! :wave2:

1) It's one line for non castaway club members and on line for cc members, at the end of these lines is a CM who will inform you of which check in line to go to. I didn't think it takes 10 minutes to check in, maybe if you haven't filled out all the forms beforehand.

2) If you stay onboard there are still alot of activities, the pool crowd is gone, you get discounts in the spa and alot of personal attention from the CMs that are still onboard. It is definately a relaxing day!

3) I don't think the water taxis have bathrooms, sorry. You may want to check how long it takes to go from point A to point B on these boards so you have an idea how long you will be without a bathroom.

1) - one long line (with ropes like the rides in the parks) and a nice person at the front will direct you to the next line. Took under 10 mins for our family of 4 I would say.

2) - we stayed on the ship for most of our Nassau day. Pools were a little more quiet so that was nice, used the hot tub, had a totally quiet table by the windows for the seafood buffet at lunch. Took a nap, etc. It was nice. the newsletter you get every morning will detail any onboard activities available while the ship is in port.

3) - sorry we didn't have to take any water taxis as Nassau and CC docked right at the port. Aside from Nassau, there were plenty of potties available if needed. I was just off a stomach bug when we boarded so I was sure to note where every bathroom was just in case.

Hope you have a great time!

They now have people checking before you get in the check in line to be sure that you have ALL your documents filled out. If not, there is a place to complete them. Check in is definitely less than 10 minutes per family when you have everything completed first. There is a separate line for non-US citizens, which may be a little more complicated. There are a large number of CM stations (like teller stations), but only 3 lines. These 3 feed to their own sets of CMs. The lines are Castaway Club (previous guests), first timers, and non-US citizens. There is a separate line for concierge level guests as well. Sometimes the CC line is longer than the regular line..and CC can use the regular line.

The CM at the front identifies the next free station and sends you there.

On the ship on port days--movies, pools, kid programming, specials in the Spa (as it isn't as crowded, they offer specials to book up the day). Lots of availability of deck chairs, etc. Great time to work on your tan, nap, enjoy the ship. Work off some of those calories in the fitness center! The kid programming continues in the club/lab/stack on port days. I like to stay on board!
