First Timer-Questions

I posted on the strategy boards some questions, I forgot one..I hope it's ok here..I am going from the 22nd-26th..1st time for this 34 yr. old..*L*..
Anyway, we are renting a car and doing AK the first day and MK the 2nd, my question is there a place to drop off without paying parking? My Mom is dropping us off the first day, as she's saving all her walking for MK..

I am not aware of any dropoff points.

Why not park at one of the resorts on property and then board the WDW bus to whichever park you are going?

You can park at downtown disney and hop onto a WDW bus to any park.

I saw on the trans board that there is a drop off point for taxis etc. at the park..I think I'll have my mom do this. She's not staying and it'll be easier this way.
