Hi, I know a lot of these questions have already been asked, but I just discovered your board and was looking for some info. My family (DH, myself and 7 year old son) are planning to go in mid August. I know it will be hotter than heck, but w/ DH's work schedule that's our only option. We are debating between RPR and PBH. I found a rate for RPR of between 214 and 220 per night (depending on which week we go). They are also running a "Featured Attraction" which includes the tix to USF/IOA, Sea World and 2 days all you can eat in the parks which is 1920 total. I'm curious to know which is the best option based on what you are getting. Also, if I book through the Universal website, and join the Loews First club, can I get all the benefits? When I look for rates through Loews, it redirects me to the Universal site. Any info anyone can give will be greatly appreciated. Also, is there a big difference between RPR and PBH, especially w/ the age of my son?
Thanks again.

Starts at the Loews site and let it redirect you. Apparently they can tell where you start. However, I would call them. Sometimes there are different rates available when you call direct. Make sure that they don't give you something higher than what you see online. I wouldn't do any packages. I honestly think you can always get a better deal doing it separately.

You will also save a lot if you don't go over the weekend. Your son will probably enjoy both hotels as they both have great pools and since it will be warm, you will be spending a lot of time there!
