I spent several hours last night reading as many previous posts as possible....thanks for so much info!

My family (DH and DS, 6) are making our first trip for any of us to Disney, arriving 9/22. We are staying at Riverside and trying to minimize resort walking to save me for the parks. I am not truely disabled, but due to some moderate foot problems, days of lots of walking are almost impossible. We will be using a wheelchair when I give out!

What building at Riverside would you all suggest I request to make it as easy as possible? We will be using some Disney transportation, 'ole man river and the food court. At this point we are thinking of building 14.

Thanks!!

Alligator Bayou Buildings 14 and 15 would be very good for you. They are close to the food court, bus stop, and main pool area. I've been assigned to both and was very happy both times.

Good luck with your foot! There is so much walking at WDW it can get tough.

14 is a "special needs" building. Please contact CRO and let them know that you are a special needs guest and need a first floor room in Building 14 (let them know about the wheelchair to get you that first floor room).

14 is a great building - close to the food court, close to the main pool and close to the main bus stop.

Have a great time!!!:p
