Booked us 3 nights at RPH with AAA rate of $191 a night. Read someone else got a rate of $199 at PB. I have 3 young boys and read that PB has a water slide and RPH doesn't? Should I make the switch and will they just transfer the $200 to that reservation?

The pool at PBH is great for kids. The pool at RPH has a kids' area but no slide.

PBH is a further walk but, of course, you can take the boat or the bus.

I booked PBH for $199 its an APH rate. I go there after my stay at RPR and had to pay 1 nights deposit.
They will probably refund your deposit from RPR booking and you will need CC details for your deposit at PBH

Damo, as i know you stayed there recently, whats the PBH pool areas like for getting sunbeds, do you need to be down early, or are there plenty available

There were lots when we went down, but we weren't in high season. There are also three pools, so if you just want to sunbathe, there are lots of options.

A standard room at RPR is 335 sq.ft. while a standard room at PBH is 460 sq.ft. - if space is an issue take the PBH.

Love the slide! my niece went down it over and over again! She could not get enough.

We also liked the extra space in the room. RPH is awesome, but they do have the smallest rooms.

We really love PBH and the grandkids enjoy the pool slide too. The pic doesn't do the pool justice but it was all I could find.

OK, so i guess my next question would be how much is an AP? I just need to have one in my party, correct? It's probably not worth the extra money it will cost for the AP.

Approx $189+tax
there is a cheaper one but you do not qualify for discounts with it

My hubby and I would definitely go with PB. We love both RP and PB but definitely like the italian feel and atmosphere in PB plus the water slides and the pool area are awesome.:goodvibes

Just got back from PBH yesterday. Last year we stayed at RPR, and I think PBH just blows it away. The rooms are huge and you cannot beat the atmosphere on the Piazza.
