I am going for a week in mid May. My kids are 4 & 8 yrs. old. We are thinking about staying offsite (Holidy Inn Family Suites - because of the big rooms and all the kids pools and activities). Not sure we want to go to the theme parks every day...to relax a day here and there. This probably means that we will only end up going to theme parks for 3 days. Based on the age of our children, what them parks would you recommend? What about Universal Studios, Sea World?

Any other advice? Is it worth while to stay at at Disney Resort to get the extra hours?

Thanks

Three days is not enough! The parks are huge! Most kids LOVE Magic Kingdom and want to spend all their time there! Magic Kingdom can take a few trips to see it all. Same with Epcot. MGM can be done in one day and so could AK (actually about 1/2 a day for AK)

My kids next favorite is Disney Studios for the Ariel show and the Belle show and my 8 year old LOVES Tower of Terror and Rockin Rollercoaster.

Then probably Epcot for Mission Space and Test Track.

Then Animal Kingdom for the Safari ride and the Lion King show.

I think you should try for at least 5 days at Disney.

We also love Universal and Islands of Adventure and sometimes split our Disney trip with it.

Good luck!
