Okay...this will be my first time to WDW...and it's my honeymoon. My finace has been there before...when she was 18. Here's the plan right now...we'll be there Sept. 12-18, staying at the AKL with a Savannah room.

Monday - Arrive. Hit MK. HoopDeeDoo @ 7
Tuesday - AK am. MGM pm.
Wednesday - Chef Mickeys Breakfast. Epcot. R&C Dinner/Illuminations
Thursday - Epcot. La Nouba in the evening (any recommendations for restaurants in DTD?)
Friday - MK/whatever. Dinner @ Crystal Palace
Saturday - Any park - California Grill for dinner...seating at 7:50pm (Wishes is at 9)
Sunday - Go home :sad1:

Any ideas for some other special things to do while there? My fiance is a very picky eater which is why we skipped Boma's. But we thought the character meals would be fun.

Looks like you have a great Disneymoon planned :goodvibes Have a great time! House of Blues has an area called The Voodoo Garden which is supposed to be very romantic and the food is well liked by many. I haven't been but want to go :earboy2:

Wolfgang Puck's! Excellent food and just moments away from La Nouba! ENJOY!!! :teeth:

My favorite places are:

Cinderella's Royal Table - inside the Castle
Le Cellier - Epcot Canada
Beaches and Cream (The Kitchen Sink is what to order) at Beach Club Resort

A no miss spot for us in DTD is the Portobello Yacht Club - it can get a little noisy, but the food is spectacular!!!!!! We've been know to do lunch one day and dinner another cuz we can't get enough!!!!!! It is a little farther away (just steps tho) from LaNouba, but still a reasonable walking distance. Also, Boma is a buffet restaurant that has, in addition to some unusual items, some very simple items that your fiance should like (pasta, chicken, salad, steak, etc.) and the atmosphere is fabulous!!!! If you still don't think it's safe, be sure to stop in at the bar above Boma in AK Lodge - very beautiful!!!!

Thanks for all of the tips!!

One other question I forgot to ask. Many people have posted pics of gift bags/arragements that they arranged to have in their rooms upon arrival. Who do you call for these? I looked at disneyflorist and didn't see anything there that was too special. Do you have to call them directly to order something other than what is on the webpage? Or is there another place that has more options?

Just looking to have some champagne, a bride & groom minnie & mickey waiting for us when we arrive...would be a nice surprise for my fiance.

We just got back from our disneymoon yesterday. Capn Jacks in DTD was awesome. Make sure you wear the hats. Did you note on your ressie at Hoop De Doo that it was your honeymoon? We were seated directly in front of the stage in the middle. Maybe go to MGM on your any park day. Go to Indiana Jones. Get a FP. Arrive early. Sit in the front. They will pick people from the audience to be extras. They asked if there was a honeymooning couple and we jumped right up and were picked to be in the show. Also go to Who Wants to be a Millionare at MGM. We went twice and both times we were put on the screen and everyone clapped for us. The 2nd time I was in the hot seat too!! We did the Crystal Palace breakfast. It was fun but they didn't spend much time with us. They spent most of the time with the kids around us. Have fun!!

I would highly reccomend a private fireworks cruise. You can book them for Wishes or illumiNations. We did this during our wedding week and it was definitely one of the highlights of our week, (besides the wedding of course).
This is something that books up fast, so you may be a little late to book, but I would give them a call anyway. You have to call disney recreation services. I don't have the # right now, but if you call the # that you called for dinning, they can help you!

Feralpeg on this board might be able to help you with a creative basket - she did a really nice one for my DS and his DFi in June when they got engaged!!!!
