First timer here with Pirate Night question

When does the deck party start and when are the fireworks? Will we miss out if we have late dining?

It varies a little depending on the ship you’re on but there are two pirate events, one is a deck party that occurs between the dinner seatings and the other is the fireworks which occurs after second dining.

Deck party is following the late dinner seating, with fireworks following. You may have to skip dessert that night, but there's the Pirate buffet........

We always have late dining and always are able to go up to the pool deck and watch the show/fireworks.

On some itineraries - notably MDAS cruises - they only do one show with the fireworks, between seatings. The reason given to us is that they do not want to do two late parties during the same cruise.

You won't miss it. But if you want a good view, eat quick and head up early, since the early dining folks claim a lot of the good spots before the late dining wave arrives.

Weird - we just did a SWDAS cruise and they did the Pirate Night fireworks after late seating and then on the Star Wars night they had Star Wars fireworks too. I can't speak much to the deck party part of it as we watched the Pirate fireworks from the outside deck of Meridian and were at whiskey tasting for the Star Wars fireworks.

We also had two late shows on our NYE and SWDAS cruises. Yesterday was Pirate night on our MDAS cruise on Magic and the fireworks were shot at 8PM
