First timer for F&W..Is Epcot "less crowded" Mon-Thurs?

Trying to plan an October F&W trip...
Is Epcot less crowded on NON HOLIDAY, NON WEEKENDS, Monday-Thursday?
Thought I read somewhere that the MOST CROWDED day is Saturday????

Definitely. If you have choices, do Food and Wine during the week.

In general, yes. Avoid Friday night/Saturday/Sunday. You should have no issues.

F&W is awesome! When I've been there for that, i did not bother making reservations and, instead, simply chose to eat around the world. Your cost ends up being about the same but with so much variety.

We only skip Sat. Fri. is OK in the day getting more crowded as evening approaches but still not enough to drive us out. Avoid Columbus Day and the weekend prior if possible.

Get to the WS just before 11am & wait for the "rope drop" on weekdays & you won't have to wait on any lines. Some of the kiosks before the actual WS open earlier than 11am. We usually only need an hour to do half the offerings and then come back another day to do the other half, then the rest of the week we go back & hit our favorites. We never wait on lines, it's great!

I don't have a specific memory about Columbus Day itself as compared to a Sat but in 2013 our trip spanned that weekend and CD and crowds were noticeably bigger for those 3 days when compared with 4 previous F&W trips when we avoided CD weekend. We're going after that week this year and before it in 2016, we won't do those days.

We have usually found Sunday evenings to be fairly light, along Monday through Thursdays.

Just another question... if I remember right, most of the options are considered snacks on the dining plan right? Anyone know of a link where they show photos from the various kiosk menus? (showing which options are snacks on the DDP)

Would like to plan how we attack F&W this year. Maybe we'll just "snack" around the world rather than sit down for a QS or TS meal that afternoon.

We typically hit the WS during F&W on Mondays with success. But please keep in mind..."less crowded" doesn't mean "not crowded." For F&W, you can tell "crowded" from "less crowded" not by the crowds, but by the lines at the food kiosks. The WS during F&W is going to feel crowded regardless of crowd level because it has all the extra kiosks taking up room, and it's extremely popular, especially during party season at the MK, since the MK closes so early those nights. Your best bet is to pick a day/evening at Epcot where the MK is actually open regular hours...the MK being open later will help pull crowds away from Epcot. Like I said, we've always gone to Epcot on Mondays during F&W, and literally have never waited in a line at the kiosk. The most people we've ever had in front of us was 1 other group. The walkways are crowded, but the food lines tell the real story of the crowds.

If you really want to miss crowds, get out of Epcot by 4:00-4:30, even during the week. Depending on who'd performing at the Eat to the Beat concerts, Epcot may be more crowded later in the day. We're always at the ready at 10:45-some kiosks open a little early-and leave Epcot by 4:00 if possible.

Also factor in who is performing that evening. More popular acts will draw in a pretty heavy local crowd after work.
