Where? When? Bonus Question what did you have?

My 1st time was very boring but want to hear others. 1989 while on Spring Break ate at Pinocchio Village Haus. Because in college and on Budget got the Double Cheeseburger . Must have eaten 25 of those little pickles form Fixins Bar. Had done tradition of it being 1st place we'd eat every time back until they got rid of all Burgers.

First thing I ate was when I was 7 in.. 1978:scared1:.. I can't remember what it was but I know it was at the Poly as that was where we stayed.. I still remember eating breakfast at the Cafe, and the Mickey waffles and the smell of the lobby.. Everytime I have been back to Disney since then (I have only been able to stay there 1 more time since 1978) the smell brings me right back to 1978 and I make a point of going back just to walk around..

Last time we got some coffee at the coffee bar and walked through the property with our then 2 year old.. This next time we made ressies at Ohana..

My first trip was in 73 and I was a baby so I have no clue what it was!

The first food that I was old enough to remember was in 1984 at Epcot and we had dinner at Chefs de France. I had the french onion soup and the chicken....and plenty of rolls!

The first time I ate at WDW was in 1977 when I went with my first husband. We ate at the Contemporary Resort but I have no idea what I had. I can't even remember what I had for dinner night before last.

The first time I can remember eating at WDW was on my Honeymoon in 2008. We ate at Pizzafari after the Sunrise Safari. Good meal, but going on a tour that starts at 6:30am the morning after your wedding is a horrible idea.

I may have eaten at WDW before that, in '94, but I can't remember...

I can't remember the year...somewhere around 1990. We had cold pizza in the parking lot at MK! :rotfl2: Hey, we were poor. At least we were at Disney!

The first "for real" time was at Earl of Sandwich in Oct '10. Mmmmm..that holiday sandwich...

We probably ate elsewhere, but I don't remember. Back in 1988 we ate at Biergarten and I remember really liking it. I also remember eating a chocolate chip cookie from the American part (it was Nestle Tollhouse specifically).

I remember nothing before 2009 but in 2009, we ate at the Kona while staying at the Poly. I had Tonga Toast (picked it out myself, didn't even know allears and disboards existed!).

1996
Artist Point Character Breakfast
It was family style so I ate what they served...typical scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage potatoes.
It was not the most impressive food.
The view was great but I didn't find Artist Point to be very special in the daylight. In 2005 I finally returned for dinner, after dark and loved the ambiance and the food.

May 2009, Le Cellier for dinner. (What a great first experience, huh??? :) ) I had the filet and risotto, so did DH. My girls split an order of child's spaghetti. Love me some Le Cell!!:lovestruc

March 2009 was my first trip. (40th bday trip)

We ate at San Angel Inn our first night there. It was a wonderful suprise! The restaurant is one of my favorites, I kept thinking "wow this is disneyworld...how cool".
The atmosphere was great. The room seemed to fill with magic because I knew I was inside but felt I was outside in Mexico! How awesome it was.

My first trip was the first week of January in 1989. I was 7 years old so I don't remember a lot about that trip. I do remember we ate at Mickey's Starlight Cafe, which was in Epcot in Future World. I had the chicken fingers and since all I ever ate was chicken fingers while dining out, I thought it was perfect! :cloud9:

October 26, 1986. I believe it was lunch at the Poly where Kona is now and I had a very good burger. We were staying at the Contemporary and I don't remember why we ate at the Poly other than we were with other people and following their lead.

Thats what I tell people who say the food wasn't worth the $$$. Can't put a price on the atmosphere.

My first meal was in 1982. I was 11, but I cannot remember what I had. I went back in July 2005 with my DH and 2 DS's. I had no idea you had to have ADR's! :lmao: Well, we went to DHS on the first day. We tried to get into Sci-Fi, but they were full, so they sent us over to 50's Prime Time, where we were able to get in with a very short wait. I don't remember what I had, but I think it might have been roast beef. I remember it being good, and I loved the theme. My DS's (9 and 7 at the time), on the other hand, hated being reprimanded for not eating their veggies. I have not been able to get them back to that restaurant! :rolleyes1

I went a few times a s akid but I don't remember anything about eating. But Dh and I went for our honeymoon in 1997 and we ate at San Angel Inn and Sci Fi. It was a big splurge for us back then and we loved it  Funny though we haven't eaten at either since

It depends if we are talking table service or counter service.. for years we always ignored in park table service and ate outside the park, save some counter service- Peco's Bill, Aloha Isle, Pizzafari, etc.

Recently through, we've mended our ways and take park in the great dining available in the parks.

My first was the San Angel Inn- we love Mexican - I loved what I ate, but my DW I think was a little dissapointed there wasn't stuff on the menu you can at most Mexican restaurants in the states.

During the same trip, we had Hollywood and Vine (she loved it, I wasn't to keen on it, but I'm not a fan of dinner buffets, we did it mostly for Fantasmic seating)

We only had two real meals onsite that I remember from my first trip back in '97 - one at Sci-Fi and the other at Coral Reef. I'm sure we also grabbed some counter service somewhere because we spent 3 full days in the parks plus a day at River Country, but those were the only table service. And I don't remember a thing about the food, other than the amazing milkshake at Sci-Fi. It was the atmosphere that made an impression.

Well, our first meal was at Rainforest Cafe at DTD. BUT...
We ate at The Plaza for our first Disney meal. I had some chicken sandwich and mom had strawberry salad of some kind.. I have such a great memory huh? :rotfl2:
We have tried to eat there every year since either lunch or dinner. It has good food but not WONDERFUL. It's more of the memory of the first Disney meal!!!:lovestruc

My first meal I remember having at WDW was in 1996 on my honeymoon. We ate a CS meal at I think it was called Simple Pleasures or Healthy Eating in the Wonders of Life Pavillion in Epcot.

I fell in love with this place. We had green salads with more than lettuce and a cherry tomato than you get now and Italian subs made with turkey cold cuts on whole wheat rolls.

How sad I was when they closed the CS and then the pavillion. :sad2:
