This is out 1st time with our 3 year old, any safety suggestions regarding rides? Our son is really into buzz, do you think this ride is appropriate for his age?

For the Buzz ride it really depends. I would explain everything that happens on the ride and then ask him if he still wants to go on. For safety I would check ride height and stuff but i wouldn`t really worry :cool1: :cool1: :jumping1:

I went on repeatedly with my 7 year old and there didn't seem to be anything scary. Obviously check the height and all, but the main thing is trying to shoot the aliens. He may not do that great but that's okay!

My ds (4) loves this ride and was my friends ds (3) favorite ride last october. You might consider getting a fast pass then get into the regular line and use the fast pass for a quick second ride.

we took our little girl who was 2-1/2 at the time. She loved Buzz. Check the height requirements though. she was tall for her age. i explained all of the rides to her before we got to each one...such as this one is a little dark, etc. She hated the dark. We took a very small penlight with us and when she would get scared, she would turn on her little flashlight and not be so scared any more

maybe just prepare your little one before getting him on anything that might scare him....

Is he good with the dark...it is a dark ride. I think I would thake him over to MGM and see what time the Toy Story characters are due to make an apperance...go about 30-20 minutes early...you might get lucky. It is outside, and not scary.

Hi!

Definitely! My little one was 2 3/4 when he rode Buzz Light Year - he will love it!

Our DS was just a month shy of 3 last trip. This was his absolute favorite ride and he really wasn't even a Buzz fan until afterwards. I think he will really like it. Our DS also loved the Pooh ride, Peter Pan's flight, and Mickey's Philharmagic. The rides we regretted were Haunted Mansion and It's Tough to Be a Bug at AK--very scary for him!!!

We took my 3 yr old in November for Thanksgiving and she cried if we didn't take her on a ride or tried to do the child swap. She threw a fit when we said no to Tower of Terror, Haunted Mansion, Dinosaur, etc... My husband gave in and we ended up taking her on ALL of them! Tough to be a Bug scared her more than any of these rides... I think it just depends on your child. We had to take her on Tower of Terror 3 times to get it out of her system and move on to the next attraction. She even closed her eyes on Phillarmagic but loved Dinosaur. Strange... I know...

I would explain the ride to him and then just let him have fun zooming through and shooting. He will have fun either way!

My son loves the buzz ride when he was 3 years old. Like everyone else explain the ride to him and see what your son says. The only ride my son didn't want to go when we expianed it to him but we made him go any ways was Soar in and he loves that ride now too. To this day he still talks about Soar In.
