Hello! Visiting Universal Dic 31-Jan 2 for the first time. We will be Staying on-site. It will be my husband and me with our 2 daughters (6 and 8 years old). I bought the park to park tkts, as well as Character Breakfast at USF Jan. 1st. I know the parks will be extra crowded. Questions: 1. How should I divide the 3 days, considering my daughters' age group and crowd levels? 2. Is the Cinematic Dinner deal any good? 3. Will it be horrible to spend New Year's Eve @ the park? If so, any other suggestions? 4. How close are the parks to each other? I usually don't like "hopping" from park to park. Makes the girls get tired and antsy. Thanks!!!

Although the parks aren't far apart, I'm like you, its tiring on kids to cover two parks, I would save that for the last day if you want to hit highlights of both parks again.

I would do the Studios on the 31st (big crowd of course but predicted to be much better than IOA for that date) and then IOA on the 1st. Since your on-site, take advantage of mid-day for pool or just rest time...midday will be the most crowded but the parks are open very late on your dates so you could relax 3 or 4 hours before heading back to the park when it should be less crowded.

Since you have P2P, maybe do one park in the morning, take an afternoon break, then hit the other park...
