First Time With Fla Discount Rate

My parents just got their FLA ID's and are treating us to a few days in Disney this April. We have stayed at several of the hotels, but my parents never wanted to spend the $$$. Now with the ID, I hope to get a big discount on the rooms. What would you suggest for them? We are only going to do MGM and EPCOT (flower/garden show), Although I would like to hop over to MK on our MGM day since it never takes a full day to do that and I HAVE to see new Stitch ride and my dd wants to do space mountain and splash mountain.

Any suggestions? ARe there usually discounts then? We are going April 25-27th.

Yes you should be able to get a resident discount then, It usually drops to value prices for the last week or so of April until early June. We've gone the last 2 yrs that week, not too hot, crowds manageable. We've stayed at POR for $84/night then. Hope that helps.
