We are finally doing it!! We have booked a house offsite and are going Feb 4 - 11th. My DW, DS 5, DS 3, DS 1 and myself are so excited already (well maybe not DS 1 cause he doesn't know any better!). We are only planing to go to MK and AK since they are still young and walking might be an issue.
I am wondering if anyone has any tips? Best day to go to the parks, where to get passes, best pass option, etc.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Congratulations! It's a fine idea!!!

I went to WDW 2 years ago and I bought my '7-days Park Hopper Plus' passes at the CAA. It's the cheapest price I've found because the passes were 'at par' at that time.

But it depends of what you need. If you only want to go to MK and AK, you should only buy Park Hopper passes. If you want to go to the water parks too, you should buy Park Hopper Plus passes.

Go to this link, they also have good prices :Tickets

I personally did not like the AK. My kids were not impressed with AK either. The only thing I did like about it was the Tree of Life, and Bug story in the tree. We did not do the Safari so I can't comment on it.
I would however, recommend MK and MGM. I'd also like to recommend Universal, but seeing your name you might already know that!

Have fun!

dd went to WDW three time:
at ages: 4.5, 7.5 and 8.5 years
ds went twice:
at ages: 15 months and 2.5 years

We enjoyed all four parks. My fav is MK, but my kids loved Epcot! S
