:)Hi everyone!!!! My husband and I are arriving on Monday for a quick four night getaway......without our four kids!! This is our first time not bringing them. :cool1: Anyway....I would love some input from others who have done adult only. We love to hang out and have a few cocktails!! We aren't really looking to do sit down dinners.....we would rather find a nice bar/pub and have some drinks and appetizers!! Any suggestions out there??? Thanks!!! :)

Wow - it's been a long time for us, but we used to love hanging in the pub at the Rose & Crown. They took away their pub food, though, so it's more just a drink and a song!

50's Prime Time has a nice bar and you can order food there as well.

I think your best best is hotels - the Deluxes all have lounges of some sort. Plus you can have fun touring all of them.

I like the Crew Cup lounge at Yacht Club. They have booths with high backs and it feels very private to sit in there and have a little food and drinks.

Mizners lounge at the GF is great if you are there when the band is playing.

My DH and I are leaving on our adult only trip in about 18 days! You will have twinges of guilt, but they will be overshadowed by the nice relaxing pace you can take. Or, if its your thing, a faster pace. We tend to use the time alone to eat at the nicer restaurants but I have this list of all the bars that serve some form of meal. You might find bar/appetizer hopping to be a fun event that you couldn't do with your kids!! Have fun!

California Grill lounge – full menu available
Tune In Lounge (adjacent to Prime Time Café) – full menu available
Jiko – full menu at bar
Raglan Road – full menu at bar
Gurgling Suitcase – full Olivia’s menu available at bar
Rainforest Café – full menu at bar
Yak & Yeti – full menu at bar
Citricos – Full menu is available at counter/bar seating inside restaurant. I believe, but am not sure, that you can order Citricos dishes from Mizners lounge.
Rose & Crown – pub menu (cheese and fish & chips available at the bar)
Flying Fish – full menu at counter seating
Turf Club – appetizer menu at bar
Tambu Lounge – appetizer menu at bar (selections from Kona)
Territory Lounge – appetizer menu at bar
Martha’s Vineyard Lounge – appetizer menu at bar
Rix Lounge – appetizer menu at bar
Bluezoo – bar/café menu (limited selections, no desserts)
Crockett’s Tavern – food available
River Roost – appetizer menu at bar
Crew’s Cup Lounge – appetizer menu at bar
The Wave - appetizer menu at bar

Citricos in the GF has a bar and lounge area. I would get drinks and some of their amazings appetizers!!

I would also recommend La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot. Very creative, original, and delicious margaritas! They have a small "nosh menu" with guac and tostadas.

I've done kidfree once and had a blast. Love Jellyrolls and my absolute fav is taking my time around World Showcase, getting a drink and enjoying the shows. I loved being able to sit back and people watch. I went for 4 days and only did 4 rides.

My dh and I had fun just walking through Epcot and trying some cocktails in the different countries. It was relaxing to just browse the shops, sit down and listen to music while enjoying your favorite beverage.

Bluezoo offers a full menu in their lounge - it's a great place to relax with drinks and appetizers.

Same goes for the Crews Cup Lounge at the Yacht Club.

The Tequila Ditch in the Mexico Pavilion is wonderful but consider yourself warned ... you may go in and like it so much that you'll never want to leave!

Raglan Road is great in the evenings - Monday through Saturday they have an Irish band playing folk music from about 8PM on. We love going there and having some drinks and appetizers and dessert. Good times!

Ditto!
I also love "drinking around the world" with a little snack at various stops to keep you on your feet!
