i went to old town about 10 days ago while i was in kissimmee.

i couldn't go on a fri/sat night - so i think that i went on a wednesday night.

i wasn't expecting too much because a few people said that it didn't have much atmosphere on the other days of the week.

well - i walked there - about 30 mins from my hotel - radisson resort parkway and i really enjoyed it.

There are some great shops - a couple of bars and some rides - i WOULD NEVER GO ON THAT SLINGSHOT!

anyway old town is kind of a 'cute' place to go. There is a general store there that sells kool american stuff - and man there are a few shops that sells LOADS of betty boop merchandise - so any betty boop fans - you will love this place.

yes if you have a hour or two to spare i would recommend old town.

I have to agree I would never go on that Slingshot ;)

I've not been to Old Town for years, I must give it a try next time :) I hear the Rib place here is excellent :thumbsup2

Be careful with damons, I've heard the service can be dodgy at times. Old Town is fantastic to explore, I'd say its 4 blocks of cheesy shops (but oh so fun), some carnival rides and a great atmosphere on staurday night with all the cars. I love it but it certainly doesn't have disney's slick coating shall we say? ;)
