first time using DVC

I waited so long to book that now we are switching rooms 4 times. LOL
This is what we got:

06/19-06/23 OKW Studio
06/23-06/27 AKV Kidani Village Standard Studio
06/27-06/29 AKV Kidani Village Svannah Studio
06/29-07/03 AKV Jambo Value Studio


I am hoping switching rooms wont be a pain. I am curious if anyone else has had to do this.
I also was curious on how the linen situation goes.
How are the buses at these places?

Linens on day 8, trash and towel on day 4. SInce you are moving, the days will start over each move. DId you waitlist so you don't need to move so often?

Buses at AKV are fine. It has been a long time since I stayed at OKW.

.Hi!We switched a couple of times and the only pain was our room both times wasn't ready till after 5pm(We like our afternoon pool time)If I were with you I would forget which room we were at.Just kidding Have a great trip

Bell Services will store and transfer your luggage and food items.

We could have stayed at okw the whole time they had tons of availability, but we really wanted to go to our home resort. Can you still check in even if your room is not ready> Will they hold your luggage for you?

You can check in even if your room isn't ready.

If you want Disney to move your bags from one resort to the other, check with Bell service to find out what time you should be sure that your bags are down with them. When you get in the room, you can call BS at the new resort and they will bring you your bags.

Since there are so many moves, and since we can only have 2 waitlists, I would be prepared to call MS a few times, to see if anything somes up. Have you waitlisted for something?

I didnt even know we could get waitlisted. That is good to know. I will put in for that.

What will you waitlist for? If it were me, I would first try to get rid of the 2 night stay, so I would waitlist for the 27 to the 29 at either Kidani Standard view studio or Jambo value view studio. I'm thinking that one may come through, since it's only 2 days.

Then you can decide if you really want savannah view and waitlist for the whole time that you are at AKV either at Kidani or Jambo savannah. Finally if one of those come through, try to get the OKW moved to wherever you have the rest.

Other people will have different opinions, I'm sure, but I really think you will be able to do better, eventually.

PS. If not, if you do move, it's not going to be bad! Disney helps and if you plan your days well enough, you'll do fine. I've moved 3 times during an 8 night stay, on purpose, I had my reasons, and I was with different people.
