Looking at going to the Orlando area in late November and would like to take my wife and kids (ages 10 - 7) to US for 1 day. Am I doing something wrong or is this the actual price of tickets? My oldest daughter is considered an adult so 3 adult + 1 child pass for the "Park-to-Park Tickets + Unlimited Express" is showing at $870 + tax. Is that right for a single day's admission?

Probably..First, ONE day tickets are rarely if ever discounted.they operate the same way disney does ( the more you stay , the cheaper it becomes).Second, Unlimited express pass is EXPENSIVE.Which is why many of us here recommend checking into room prices at one of Universals Delxue prpoerties. One night stay gets you 2 days of the resort guest express pass.

And third....

when are you going to the parks and what kind of attractions are you looking for? You may not need the park-to-park or express options to begin with.

You can often still see most of the single park within a day without express, so if $$ is an issue you shouldn't feel like you NEED the express.

And depending upon what you are wanting to do, you may not have the time or desire to park hop. It would be cheaper to get the single park ticket, and then if you have time and want to hop you can always upgrade your ticket at any number of locations within the park by paying the difference.

The unlimited Express is ridiculous! When i priced our stay with it vs. onsite for 3 days, it was as if the hotel stay was free! Are you local? What are your other plans (WDW?) Could you see doing a nights stay and 2 day tickets? Or you could just go and see if you need Express at all and then maybe buy regular but that unlimited price is scandalous!
