I'm going to take my 10 year old daughter to Disneyland around January 31st. We live in FL, so we have been to WDW a million times but hoping to meet some friends in CA. Does anyone know of package deals with flights or any specials out there? I don't even know where to start.
Our friends are staying at a military hotel and I'm hoping they can get a second room. If not I'll probably do good neighbor hotel since they don't have value properties like they do in Orlando. Hopefully we won't need a car.
I also saw a ticket called a city pass but I don't see it fit 2013 yet. Do they usually have those every year?
Another concern is that I'll be 7 months pregnant at the time and I know I'll have to rent a scooter. Do they have offsite companies for rentals like they do at WDW?
Sorry for so many questions but I know nothing about DL.

I would check disneyland.com for deals. They usually have one going on at any given time of you want to stay on property. But if you decide to stay off property the hotels are decent. I would also sign up for the email deals through southwest for flight discounts; they come out every Tuesday.
You shouldn't need a car if you are staying close. Most of the good neighbor hotels offer shuttles to and from disneyland.
The city pass is most always available. If you get that you will need a car. It has admission to universal studios and some other parks that are an hours drive away.
I'm not sure about offsite company's for scooter rentals but I know they have scooters available at the park for a price.

Most of the good neighbor hotels are in walking distance and do not have shuttles. Candy Cane Inn has one, but the others on the main 'strip' do not have shuttles. There are more shuttles once you get to be about a mile away. There is a very informative thread for WDW vets coming to Disneyland for the first time. I highly recommend that you check that out. But know you will love not having to take a bus every time you go into Disneyland.

I use a scooter, and love Deckert's Surgical. They will drop it off and pick it up at your hotel. Their number is 714-542-5607.

As for a package, I don't know of anyone that does a one night package so I would do as the previous poster suggested and check Southwest for rates and also Orbitz. Southwest is not on Orbitz.

We'll be staying 4 or 5 nights. Just not sure how many yet. I'll check out that company for the scooter.

I did not know they had military hotels around Disneyland. Maybe they are staying at a hotel that gives a military discount.. Maybe ask them which hotel and contact them for a price.

I know they're going to some other parks and it's on a military base, just not sure how close.

Rach, they are probably staying at Camp Pendleton in San Diego. Sea World, SD zoo, wild animal park are down there. Also Lego land is just north.
