Hello, everyone!!! I apologize if these questions have been asked and answered a million times, but the search function and my sorting skills leave something to be desired!!! :rotfl2:

My DBF and I received a trip to Universal as a gift. :cool1: We will be staying at the HRH, Club Level Feb. 5-12. Neither of us have ever been before, more or less stayed at a Club Level, anywhere. ;) Can you give us some tips on where to eat, things to do (other than the parks) etc.?? It will just be the two of us (both over 21). :lovestruc

Also, I saw something in a post somewhere about robes in the rooms at Club Level. Are these something we keep? :confused3 I'm not sure how I would feel wearing a robe someone else has worn before and then it's left for the next person.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!! :woohoo:

Nope. Don't keep the robes. IF you do, they will be charged to your credit card. All the rooms have robes for your use. The robes are washed just like your sheets, so if you are comfortable sleeping in the bed, you should be comfortable wearing the robes.

There are lots of great restaurants at the hotels and parks. What kind of food do you like?

Thanks for the answer, I guess I never really thought of it that way. :thumbsup2

We like all different kinds of food, but we've never eaten at any of the ones I've seen listed, so I'm just looking for recommendations. :goodvibes

At the parks, my favourite is Mythos for lunch or dinner. I love the breakfast croissants at Boulangerie at Universal. At the hotels, we love Sal's Deli for great, cheap pizza (at Portofino).

You should really enjoy club! They have breakfast, of a continental variety, every morning. I always grab a bagel and a piece of fruit. The bagels are really yummy. They also have soda & water available all day. In the evening, they have hor d'oeuvres. There's also beer and wine in the evenings and a late night dessert selection. Very nice. All free!

We love Mythos, as Damo mentioned. We always hit Nascar Cafe for Dh. Margaritaville is a must do. The atmosphere is so fun. This year we plan to hit the Hard Rock Cafe and Finnegan's in UO. There's so much, it's hard to pick! In the past, we've done Emeril's Tchoup Chop. It was very nice, but expensive. A nice choice for a fancy date night.

Good luck in choosing!

Our favorite places to eat, in no particular order:

Margaritaville, Mythos, Thunder Falls Terrace, The Kitchen, Sal's Deli AND (drum roll please) NBA City. I just love NBA City's 3-on-3 appetizer, so good!

Details please? We've never tried NBA City and this sounds interesting.

I was curious too, so I checked out the menu. Here's the link:

For quick reference, here's what it said about the 3 on 3:
NBA "3 on 3" - We've combined three of our most popular starters: a flavorful variety of Grilled Chicken Quesadilla, Pecan Chicken Tenders and Wings Your Way. Served with Asian mustard sauce, spicy tomato salsa and our sweet and spicy dipping sauce. $13.95

LOL. I went to the nbacity website and did the same thing. I wonder how many people the 3 on 3 starter will serve if you go for lunch. I know that the volcano nachos is a good lunch for 3 at Margaritaville.

Thank you all for your responses!!! :thumbsup2 Now I have a list of places that I definitely wanna try!!! We'll be there a whole week, so maybe I can fit them all in. Thanks again!!!! :goodvibes

Wow!! What an awesome gift! You will see what I mean once you get there.

I would also recommend seeing the Blue Man Group. Great show!:thumbsup2

Also there's a small concert arena near the Hard Rock Cafe. We have young children so we've never really looked into buying tickets. I have no idea how fast they sell out but it's something on my to do list someday.

Beginning early Feb. US has live bands every Sat for Mardi Gras. The link takes me to last year's line up but will give you some idea. Keep checking for updated info.
