THis is my first time to Walt Disney World and I will be there for almost 3 weeks. What else could I do besides the theme parks?

3 weeks at Disney....how awesome!!! If you don't have kids, I would plan an evening to see the Cirque show, also plan an evening to hit Pleasure Island...

Since you will be there for some time, you can take each day slow...enjoy everything! See the shows in the parks...you could even venture out and see the rest of Orlando...DH and I are going to SeaWorld on our May trip...we did Universal on our last trip...you could always see the other parks....for me, this made me appreciate Disney more...all the hard work and research that goes into their rides!

There are a ton of things to do other than the theme parks. You could check out the other resorts that you are not staying at, go golfing or mini putting. Spend time on the Boardwalk and Beach Club Area, of course DownTown Disney. Explore your own resort. Take one or more of the tours that are available (behind the scenes tour or even the seguay tour), make full use of the water parks.... and so on and on..........

Take a day to hang out at the pool, shop at the Prem Outlet Mall, shop DTD, golf, visit Gatorland, tour the WDW resorts, go to the Universal parks, go to Sea World, take a day trip to Kennedy Space Center and the beach. You can also rent a boat in WDW, take hayride, so many many things to do. Check out www.mousesavers.com for some great ideas/details also.

Enjoy your 3 weeks! Awesome! The longest I've been there is almost 2 weeks! How great is 3 weeks! I'm so jealous!

i going to disney in dec this first time ,where going w some friend that been there , do you any suggestion what we should do or see,it is worth two adult going wout kids

Of course you should go without kids! I've been once without the kids and hope to try to go this year again without the kids! I'd recommend everything! The parks and everything else WDW outside of the parks, has to offer. It's a different kind of experience when you can focus on each other and yourself to enjoy the things you both want to!

How were you lucky enough to get a three-week period to take a vacation? That's an awfully long time...I don't think I have had a combined three weeks off of work in the last four years.

I agree with bear, GO! Do what you wish! :) There is so much to do in the 4 parks. My last visit with DD we spent 3 weeks there. Stayed at the All-Star Music and just enjoyed the laid back approach to everything.

First...welcome to the boards. Keep reading through the various different threads and boards here and you'll get plenty of ideas :thumbsup2

Hi ! Other than theme parks, you could check out resorts such as Grand Floridian resort or Polynesian resort. You can get there easily by using monorail. There's a beach outside Polynesian resort where you can take some great pictures.

Go over to allearsnet.com for loads of information on everything in WDW. They have an area called "Beyond the Theme Parks" that should give you some good ideas.

And Welcome to the DIS!
