My questions are related to when the one year date begins. And also making sure of things. We do not live in Fl. Will one year date begin when I make fast pass choices 60 days out? Or when we first enter our first park? We will stay on property.

Since this is a new AP purchase, the year will begin when the CM hands you your APs (with one exception). If you were to upgrade a partially used MYW ticket (within 14 days of first use), the year would begin on the date of first use of the MYW ticket.

So that being said if its not "activated" then you cant book FP+ 60 days out correct?

Enter your AP voucher/confirmation number and you can book your Fp 60 days before your onsite stay. Doing this does not activate your card. It only becomes active as described by the PP.

Actually, as long as you can add the number to your account, you can get fastpasses. I had the annual pass discount on many things before I ever got the actual pass.

IT can work their magic it seems, but it sounds like a pain to have to call them. At the moment the best bet might be to buy say a 5 day ticket (or however long you need for your first trip) and then upgrade once you are there.

Thank you for the replies. To make sure I am correct, we are staying at BW in October and we want to link our first annual passes before that and make fastpass reservations. Our one year passes will be good until October of 2015 then, correct? They won't expire in august of 2015 because that is when I reserved our fast passes......right?

Making FP+ selections will NOT activate your Annual Passes.
