We are arriving tomorrow for 3 days! Staying at Paradise Pier, is Goofy's character breakfast good for 2 adults and 3 teens? we are so far behind on our planning... we do have the Trattoria reserved for our WOC dinner/seating on Wednesday night. Anything we shouldn't miss? Thanks everyone...

Hey there! First off I hope your trip is a hit, the first one is always the best, but also the most overwhelming.

A lot of people I have been reading are very pleased with their rooms at Paradise Pier. I personally have not stayed there, my family and I always stay at the Disneyland Hotel, but this time we are staying at a Best Western across the street, which the little spoiled girl inside of me is very sad about, because I love living on the park. It feels like the magic doesn't stop for the duration of the trip. So you'll have that taken care of!

If you've never experienced a character breakfast before, I think Goofy's Kitchen is a good choice. It's got a good selection of characters and they spend time with you guys signing autographs. Last time I went (last year) I saw Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, and Goofy himself. It was great! If you're looking for another good choice where it's less hectic with less small children I would also recommend the Surf's Up! Breakfast, and less so Minnie and Friends (very hectic, although lots of characters, but also lots of small children and less table time) or Ariel's Grotto (all princesses, maybe not for teens - but if they're anything like me they'd love it haha!).

I would definitely get into the Blue Bayou for a dining experience. It may be too late to book now, but even for a quick lunch would be good. For me, the "don't miss"es are Fantasmic FOR SURE (my absolute favorite anything at Disneyland), Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Peter Pan's Flight, the new Star Tours (but make sure you get a Fastpass right when the park opens), and Soarin' over California. Of course if they are daredevils all the bigger rides as well but those are my classic favorites.

For tips, I'd say get in right when the park opens, and definitely take advantage of your magic mornings!! Pack light, waterproof clothes, bathing suits, nothing overly heavy or that can't dry easily if you're planning on doing water rides.

I think that's it for now!! Have a wonderful time :)
