My dad won a trip from his company to go to Newport Beach. We flew in a few days early to do the Hollywood thing, and do one days worth of DL.
My family and I go to DW every year practically! So going to DL for my first time was a treat! We stayed The Carosel which was across the street from DL.
Please, do not stay there! Lol. We had problems with the key, and parking!
We got up at 6, ate breakfast at IHOP, then headed over to the main gate.
Once the park opened I ran like a crazy person to the Nemo ride. I got there and there was only a 15 minute wait. By the time we got off of that ride it was 2 hours!!!!!!!! Good thing we got there when we did. Just to warn you all who are going to DL soon, there are no fastpasses for the Nemo ride
Then we went on the Matterhorn. That was fun I guess, but Expedition Everest at the Animal Kingdom park in DW is ten times better!!! But I enjoyed it though.
We had so many problems that day!!! Rude, RUDE people!!! And people waiting for the parade to start. Two elderly ladies were standing in my way so i couldn't see the parade coming down. Neither could my mom or the kids behind us who wanted to see the characters. They sat down, well, more like squated down. I still couldn't see!!!
Too much drama for one day. So many bad things were happening! Then, for the fireworks show we got there early enough to get a good spot.
20 minutes or so before it started the staff people were telling my mom and I to sit down on the road. We couldn't sit on the sidewalk.
At DW you can!! My mom and I got down on the street and barely had any room whatsoever!
We complained and it turned out, a girl named Christina or is Christine? I can't remember. Anyway, she gave us three fastpasses for me, my mom, and my dad for Space Mountain. Then this guy named Aaron gave us the VIP spot for the fireworks!!!!
So, it turned out that it we got dreamed twice!! Wished, dreamed, whatever you wanna call it!!!
That was a great ending to a very hard, and stressful day!
