First time to DL. Going for one night. Need dinner suggestion :)

Heading to DL for the first time for a quick day trip. Need a dining option for dinner. Any suggestions for the best or a link to thread that can aid me???

Are you looking for a sit down (table service) meal or a counter service meal?

Table service: the Big Thunder BBQ is a lot of fun and has good food. I really want to try Carthay Circle, but I haven't been there.

Counter service: French Market or Bengal BBQ

If you want to do a character meal, goofys kitchen has suprisingly good food! But my favorite place is Ralph Brennans Jazz Kitchen in DT Disney. The food is awesome and if you get the bananas foster they will flambe it tableside!

We like Cafe Orleans, especially the Monte Cristco Sandwich with Pomme Frites (garlic/parmesan fries).

Blue Bayou has marvelous ambience, tho they're a tad(!) overpriced.

We also enjoyed Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, especially the chocolate bread pudding with white chocolate and dark chocolate sauces. It takes awhile to prepare, so you need to place your order with your entree.

Don't waste time eating when you can do other things in the parks. Grab a corn dog or suvive on popcorn. If the park is open short hours because it's offseason eat in DTD or a Hotel early or late.

Napa Rose if you want to have the meal of a lifetime.
Cafe Orleans if you want the best meal inside the park (IMO), sit outside and enjoy the view.
Carthay Circle if your at DCA.
Ariel's Grotto for a dinner character meal.
