First time to DL (from UK)

Hi ya,

Was wondering if anyone knows the answer to this please? When we went to WDW, Disney sent us a really lovely welcome package with a really useful booklet with all the information, maps, park guides in it. The one with a picture of tinker bell on the front.

Do DL do the same? I've bought a vacation package to PP but haven't received anything from Disney yet (other than emails).

First….WELCOME to the DISboards!!!

I can only share what we've experienced, and we do room only reservations through Walt Disney Travel Company.

When we book a room several months before actual arrival, we will almost always get sent,(about six weeks before the trip dates), an oversized blue envelope with a pamphlet inside labeled "Your Story" with some of the Toy Story gang on it.

It contains a "Welcome", the reservation number, the arrival date, brief info about your Hotel choice, Park maps, Dining options, fast pass info, tips, hints, etc. Sometimes there are even coupons included.

I think there have only been a couple of times where they have neglected to send us this booklet---which is pretty good, because we visit the Resort several times throughout the year!
